Since I lived to tell about my first weekend in prison others think they want to join me.
I guess that makes me a leader.
I’ve led by example before but not to this extent.
I hate seeing trash in the city park I run in. So, instead of looking at it I stop and pick it up.
Others in the park have seen me doing this and have decided to join my crusade. They make sure they tell me when they see me.
Don’t worry, I’m pretty sure we’re outnumbered so our task will be never ending.
When I was given the chance to tell about my first Kairos weekend in my adult fellowship two different people stopped me to say they want to help me next time.
I didn’t start Kairos but I sure don’t want it to stop on my watch. It looks like it won’t any time soon.
Maybe it was saying I had a front row seat to witnessing the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in people that excited them. I sure hope so because it excited me.
There’s nothing like fighting on the front lines to get your adrenaline flowing. Spiritual warfare counts.
I hope I get to tell my account at the monthly Missional Living meeting next week. We’ll see how many others care to add their bodies to the count fighting on the front lines.
Here’s a link to the Kairos at Beto I’m involved with https://www.kairosatbeto.com/
Watch the videos on there. Let’s see if your adrenaline isn’t pumping a bit more after you’re done.
There are Kairos teams for several prisons around the world. Follow the link on the site I provided to the main site to see if you can find one near you.
Let’s storm the gates of hell one prison at a time.
I’ll see you later. Wade
