A warning before you decide to open this blog post. I’m sleep deprived and beat down. So if you’re looking for feel good and funny you probably better move on. I’m in the mood for real today.
How many times have you endured more month than money? Well, I’m there now.
September 2018 is going down as the month of too much work and not enough income. I put in many long days and a few six day weeks. You can’t tell by looking at my bank account.
My biggest reason for this is the fact that I have a heart problem. I have a hard time saying no to others in need.
I also seem to have a math problem because my paychecks come in smaller than I anticipate. That all adds up to disaster at the bank.
Don’t get me wrong. I have had to say no to some folks this month. Like the fella in Uganda who runs a Christian school. He texted me that he needs $5,000 to buy a school so they can move out of the buildings they’re renting that happen to be crumbling according to the pictures he sent me.
I later discovered that amount was for land to build on. Another $30,000 would be needed to make buildings. He’s definitely barking up the wrong tree here.
He later said he has a group of mostly elderly women he needs to do something with besides basket weaving. They aren’t exactly in a well traveled tourist destination of the world.
I asked if any of them knows how to sew. Pretty soon he’s looking up how much sewing machines cost. Then he texts me how much the cheaper units cost and asks how soon I can buy some for them.
Hold your horses there buddy. I’m a visionary with a big heart not a financial genius here.
He obviously didn’t read my earlier blog posts. He likely won’t read this one either.
So, here I sit with a week to go in September and in need of over 500 dollars if my math is right. That includes the last paycheck I’ll get on Friday.
I warned you it was a rough month.
I’m asking for two things now if you want to help me.
First, pray. It’s where I always begin because I know God is in control and has a plan for everything that happens to us. Sometimes that includes asking for help.
Next, send money. I wish that was said in jest, but it ain’t.
I owe the Apainter Paul almost four days of work for the money he’s advanced to me so far. He’s heading out to India this week for a missions trip to train pastors over there.
My church’s Benevolence Fund takes time to help. They can’t just cough up money to everyone no matter how big a heart we’re dealing with.
So I’m reaching out to y’all, my faithful readers of this little blog.
I warned you I was going to get real today.
I don’t expect one person to send all the money I need. But a combined effort can add up.

Checks will work if you remember how to fill those things out. Cash money is fine, too. If you want to remain anonymous you don’t need to put a return address on the envelope. God grants special rewards for such giving.
If you want me to repay you later I will do that, too. I can’t promise when I’ll be able to but will if that’s how you want to help, that’s fine.
Proverbs 18:12 says: Before his downfall a man’s heart is proud, but humility comes before honor.
I’m coming to you broken and humble. Please help and watch to see how God plans to use this humble servant of His.
Thank you in advance.
I’ll see you later. Wade
